PJ getting cues from The Dead?

Vice TV has a series called Dark Side of the 90's. They did an hour on Sub Pop. Sub Pop made the scene that the majors swooped in on

Sub Pop didn't HAVE A CONTRACT except for Nirvana who insisted that they sign one. So Sub got paid for the debut album on their label and for Nevermind. It financed the operation

Does Pearl Jam focus on good live shows? If yes, then sure.

Anymore it's kinda their 'thing'.
I concur...not a PJ fan boi, but have seen them several tims over the years. Mrs. Fish really likes them, and we went to both the Home shows...2 completely different shows, both with the hits thrown in, different guest apps and covers each night...they brought it, six hours over two nights. I was skeptical going in, and left very impressed. Saw the Dead once, in 87 Irvine Meadows...

Is there a "scene" at the shows. People sells goods, drugs, etc?

What would be the Pearl Jam version of Shakedown Street?

No, not really. People sell wares, but not like that.
