With Jedd's inspiring speech and cross country flights out of the way, the team probably responds pretty well the rest of the year, and a 2013 Sark type of year gets completed. Hopefully the bowl game is in California.

Jesus .. need to cover 16.5?
I'd have a hard time betting on us to cover that right now.
We are committing so many penalties and making so many mistakes to bet on a 3 score victory.

Washington will win but I think it will be close and kinda high scoring. Say, 31-28. Although if Judds right, then the fact none of these Purdue players have ever seen or played in Husky stadium could really tip the scales in UW’s favor for a bigger win.

Fish actually used player unfamiliarity as an excuse as to why they struggle. I mean, has he never seen Hoosiers? Field is the same size numb nuts. If that’s his reasoning why they struggle on the road then the fact they’ll play on the road at most places in the B10 every six years will allow him to never win a game in the midwest or east coast, ever. Seattle media not hammering him for that immediately is reprehensible but when you hear Raley and Kim asking the questions it’s no big surprise.

Purdue leads at half as half empty Husky Stadium empties further
Huskies win late
Allegedly

Purdue is better than their record. Doesn't mean they don't suck but they have been scrappy at times just like Wisconsin and like Wiscy, their defense isn't as bad as you might think. Also, like Wiscy they are a team that shouldn't go winless in conference and this is their last chance to win one.
UW at home, should probably win by at least 10-14 though.

it just doesn’t matter with Fisch. He’ll just lose to UCLA and get boat raced by Oregon. Finish 7-5. Go to the LA Bowl. Lose.

until Fisch is gone, it’s just Sark revisited.

Fuck Jed Fisch and his 1-7 Big Ten road record. First Washington football coach to lose to Wisconsin, and if not for a second half miracle comeback at Maryland he would be 0-8 on the road in the B1G. Number eight will happen in ten days … a Jed Fisch prepared UW team on the road vs UCLA in Pasadena, who in there right mind believes UW has a chance at victory? Not even Dick Baird.
Beat fucking Purdue at home, nothing else matters. UW will be 1-3 after the bye and finish the regular season at 7-5. We need another Los Angeles Athletic Department Miracle!

It’ll be a shootout. Mark of a poorly coached team, you fix one side of the ball and the other side gets bad.

Northwestern beat them 19-0. UW will win 34-10, same as Purdue's game against Ohio State, and the doogs will be barkin up a storm.

I think most Doog talk was eviscerated when Judd choked at Wisconsin. Doog entrails and tears are slopped all over that field in Madison. A sober reality has set in for most of the posidwags who were hopeful that this team could beat the teams they were supposed to and maybe, just maybe, the one they weren't. Fans were dreaming of 9-2 and a punchers chance in a one game tussle for that slim invite to a playoff slot. Now, I think, most are expecting a win on Saturday. Could be a big win, could be a close win, who really knows with this team. Even Fish can't lose to Purdue at home. Right? Most all of us, I assume, are expecting some sort of emasculating loss to UCLA in front of 18,000 disinterested fans in the Rose Bowl. Then all the "Fire Judd" and the "LIPO on Judd" factions will gird their loins for a humiliating loss to a greased up Oregon and Dan Lanning. A Dan Lanning who will probably smash the skull of a live husky in the locker room with a hammer at halftime to show his commitment to winning. Washington finishes out the shittiest of shitty 7-5 seasons. So much right within reach but too offensively retarded to snag it. Oh well, it sure was a nice dream for a week.
