His draft stock has never been higher. He would be a fucking idiot to come back and risk injury.
He needs to win something meaningful rental or not.
The regular season has been great and all but I'll need to see a Rose Bowel or similar.

10-2 before the season would have been considered something meaningful. We won a lot more games than we were supposed to.

Dooging aside, there is a world that exists where that's the last we see of Penix in a Washington uniform.
I agree, he needs to win an NY6 to truly be hailed legend (I would even say if he wins what's in front him and we end up 11-2 with a top-10 ranking that qualifies).
But regardless, this has been one of the funnest seasons of Husky football in the past 30 years and he's a giant part of that. If Deboer ends up going on a run at UW with championships I could see his legend growing over time as the catalyst to something special.
Similar to Carson Palmer for Carrol (though that ended in Heisman and Orange Bowl victory)
