Is there really a difference anymore? Isn't most every game cross-platform now?

Since I'm clogging up every thread in The Shoppe like Bitchfork's toilet after a Taco Bell run, here's a list of some PC games I would highly recommend:
1.) Ori and the Blind Forest/Ori and the Will of the Wisps[/b]. These games would have melted my brain as a kid. I think this is pretty much side-scrolling platforming taken to its logical extreme. Music and art is amazing.
The next two games look/play very differently but are thematically very similar. Both games are allegorical in the same way, it's super creative, and I won't give it away:
2.) Rime[/b]. Cel-shaded 3D puzzle platformer with an amazing plot/theme, great music and art, and storytelling that isn't direct and in your face.
3.) Gris[/b]. Side-scrolling puzzle platformer. Short and sweet. One of the most beautiful games I've ever seen. Again, music is amazing, and the whole game is a realtime watercolor painting. You can't die in this game, so it's relaxing but super engaging. Maybe a six-hour play time.
4.) Limbo/Inside[/b]. These games, both by a small Danish indy development team, are side-scrolling puzzle platformers with stylized graphics and great storytelling in that the plot isn't beaten over your head. You have to figure out what the games are about by playing through them and looking around, and that's cool. Both games are pretty quick plays. I liked Inside better, but both are really good.
That's all I got. I've gotten away from the AAA stuff, as I just don't have 60 hours to dedicate to a game very often. Steam and cheap/quick indy games, though, have allowed me to pick something up on the rare occasion that I have some free time and play through without neglecting family/projects and feeling guilty. There are several more games like those above that I've really enjoyed, but those six have been the cream of the crop.

Mostly play SMITE at the moment. But I like all sorts of genres. I have heard good things about RIME I will check it out.

Gonna do some quick hitters of what I’m into now then do a quality follow up like @1to392831weretaken shortly.
League of Legends since it’s the only game approaching the same toxicity levels as this shithole. Free to play MOBA but I assume you know that much already.
Total War: Warhammer 2 (and all 15 DLC) for your fantasy RTS/empire building needs. I hate the DLC model but I can’t not get it for this game. You get real time battles and turn-based world conquering goodness. This is what PC gaming is made for, one of my favorite games.
Grim Dawn - spiritual successor to Diablo 2. I prefer it over Path of Exile.
Just started the Outer Worlds and I’m enjoying it. FPS/RPG by the original Bethesda crew, so it’s actually good.
More later.
