I tend to agree though. The number one seed should probably get SMU or Boise. Instead they’re going to face legitimate program with depth. The real question is what happens before an ASU match up when Dillingham quits two days before to take an offensive consultant position at Oregon?

Pickell is like a wind-up toy. Pate knows where his bread is buttered and it's not talking about the Sun Bowl.
BTW, he'd be saying the exact same thing if UW had this draw as the 13-0 #1 seed(with wins over the fucking #4, #6, and #9 teams) with only 1 other team in the nation even having 12 wins.
In 90% of the seasons in CFB history Oregon is already the national champion. You can hate the pandering(I do) but the message isn't wrong.

Dan didn't whine at all and yip the brackets are crap but we knew that going in... but how do you make change if the btalking heads don't talk about it...

Either way will be more satisfying when we win it all!!
 
I actually agree Oregon got a bad draw with the bracket. The reality that they could have been better losing to Penn State shows just how stupid the form of the playoff is, and for no reason. I just think Pickell and Pate are assclowns that aren't even remotely interesting or exciting talking heads. It's kind of like you, dtd, I think you're an assclown but you're at least funny.

You don’t know that. Along with mostly anything. UW went 13-0 last year beating Oregon twice and he still wanted the Peter North-esque Autzen facial on a daily basis. He would have said UW got what they paid for.
