Paranoia

Chip liked to tell the opponent what play he was going to run and have it work anyway

Slingblade is a turd, it's so apparently obvious.

This is a Top 15 program with a Utah State caliber coaching staff.

Washington could barely make a first down against Mighty Oregon's defense

Petersen's specialty is going to be our demise this year. Unless his specialty is losing. He seems to have that down pretty well.

This X 1000

Chip didn't care. He would run the same damn play 4-5 times in a row, and he knew the other team knew it was coming. Two huge examples of this, was the game at USC where Barner rushed for about 2000 yards. Oregon ran the same read option over and over again. But my favorite was the final 9 minute drive against Cal in the "12-0" (lol) season. Up 15-13 late. Chip runs 9 minutes off the clock with the same simple run scheme right down Cal's throat to go home with a win.

If Helrich has to desguise his signals to prevent teams from seeing his calls, then he isn't the right coach. Why after 4 quarters did ASU not learn to stop blitzen Adams. It seemed like every big play Oregon had was due to a break down in a blitz that allowed Adams to roll out and find an open receiver down field. Teams need to rush four and keep Adams in the pocket. It's obvious that Adams can't throw from said pocket.

its truly astonishing how quickly the Oregon culture has been destroyed. the magic curtains personify how pussified the program now is.
