I understand why Pete says it, that's what coaches do, but what really pisses me off is media people who parrot the same talking point when they are allowed to say something different.
It's quicker to list the teams in the Pac-12 who actually have some legit home field advantage than don't but I will go long form
Pullman, Corvalis, Palo Alto, Berkely, Pasadena (4 out of 5 years), Tempe, Tuscon, Boulder. Hell you could throw UW in there, if we aren't playing SC/Oregon/Stanford/WSU.
None of those places are like going to play in Death Valley, the big House, the Horseshoe, Penn State, Clemson, Bama, etc etc
That being said, this Saturday we are at a place where getting a road win is a big deal as long as they don't have Brady Hoke as DC.
