Will Harris (you may remember him as the worst position recruiter UW has had in the last 20 years as half of the famed Terrance and Willip duo) was just hired by Florida to coach defensive backs. Meanwhile the USC bored is full of posts like this

Will Harris was the first crack in the Jimmy Lake facade. Even before Pete left, our DB recruiting fell off a fucking cliff after McDuffie and the 2019 class (none of whom Harris was significantly involved in signing), and Covington (lol) was the only blue chip guy he signed in his two full cycles here. All of that despite being handed the reigns to DBU and a position group NFL pipeline that no other opposing coach could stack up against.

I was somewhat surprised that Florida didn't give Mullen 1 more year since he was 21-14 in conference with them. I don't know if behind the scenes something was worse than the record but he didn't get to the QB he recruited (Anthony Richardson) while only 3 guys were drafted from the 2021 team (more of an indictment of McIlwain's recruiting).
