I was super annoyed when the Pumper came over here. He was terrible at Dawgman under various handles. At DM he just had anger and shitty football takes. I had no idea that the freedom of Stalin's boreds was going to somehow empower that anger and shitty football takes to unleash the Shakespeare of our tims.

Me? Neither J or Pup. Seen those guys on other boards so to speak, many times. Have to take em like me, nothing personal and from what they are. Everyone has their shtick or personality. You can absolutely finger someone out on a message board by their posting styles. It would take a many of bad posts to ever throw me over the edge on someone.

Perfectly stated. I hated him at doogman, enough so that it took me a long time to come around after I joined here. He would've been an easy answer for me too. J came to mind at the moment though.

Some come to message boards to be SERIOUS, by GAWD. Those sites don’t run much traffic. Why? Caus it’s boring AF. Get a PUP or J or some “troller” in there and EVERYONE wants to pile on. I don’t even have to participate, I can just be at work and read posts and posts and threads and threads and be entertained.

Early days after joining this place, I quit the board for nearly a year when it seemed to go through a "racism is cool and funny!" phase. It was only a couple of posters doing the heavy lifting, but it's not like the response was overwhelmingly negative.

In the end, I didn't know how to quit you, so back I came. There's never been a joke told that couldn't offend someone[/i], and I'd rather tiptoe through the Thunderdome here than live a completely PC life devoid of anything funny. There are still unfortunate attempts to be "edgy" here that make me shake my damned head, but it's worth wading through it for the goldmine of humor that properly toes the line.
