Oscars 2021 Noms

I like to call nominations "noms." It's something I like to do.

Best Picture (lulz)
  • "The Father"
  • "Judas and the Black Messiah"
  • "Mank"
  • "Minari"
  • "Nomadland"
  • "Promising Young Woman"
  • "Sound of Metal"
  • "The Trial of the Chicago 7″

We started Nomadland and got maybe 20 minutes into it before turning off. Haven't seen a minute of the rest, although I'll probably see Sound of Metal.

Nomadland is very, very good.

Yeah - if you want to kill yourself.

"The Trial of the Chicago 7″is stellar.

Waiting for Stalin to write-in "White Tiger" because, well, dot indians.

I definitely recommend Sound of Metal. Riz Ahmed should win Best Actor, he knocked it out of the park.

Very good actor. I loved his HBO show. I forget what it is called, but I recommend it.

I've seen Judas and Promising and both were okay. I'd never be like, "lets watch that again!" with either.

I was able to see Tenet and the premise was there and some visuals were good, but honestly, a bit hard to follow. IWasToldThereWouldBeNoMath.gif

Promising young woman looks like a cool movie that I’ll never get around to seeing. Throb says he likes the Chicago Trial movie so I might check that out if it’s free. Other than that it looks like PornHub and XHamster for this guy.
