Oregon’s Payton Pritchard won the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year Award.

“Pritchard, who averaged 20.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.5 assists, beat out Duke’s Tre Jones, Kansas’ Devon Dotson, Marquette’s Markus Howard and San Diego State’s Malachi Flynn for the award.

A consensus first-team All-American, Pritchard led the Ducks to the Pac-12 regular season title and was named the conference’s Player of the Year.”

Nothing says participation trophy like awards for a season with no champion.

I'll give him a pass on this. Lose in the first round of the tourney, yeah participation trophy. But this really wasn't in his or his team's control. So he can enjoy it.

Bob Cousy was a little white guy

John Stockton, Steve Nash, and Mark Price were also little white guys. But, Payton Prichard isn't them. He's closer to Luke Ridnour.

You never really know when you walk in on the middle of something here. This is a running joke from another thread
