In the long run it feels like we?re trading that for having better players. Playing against the likes of osu and khaki pants could be used as a recruiting tool. Also, eventually they’ll have more TV revenue and if they ever decide to buy HS kids they could. Or play in a shitty conference with next to nothing in TV revenue but go to the CFP where you get plungered every year. I don’t know… tough call.

Utah will do great in the Big 12 initially. I agree

Whether they can sustain now that they will be cut our of California again is the question

Agree. That works for a 10 team league where everyone plays everyone, but it’s retarded for an 18 team league where there’s no way to balance the schedule perfectly.
