This seems like the deal. It's an interesting year. A lot of the top programs who have relied on veteran QB transfers and multiyear starters they have had appear to be turning to young guys they've had on the roster in 2025. The running out of the free covid year has helped thin out the talent pool of proven veteran starters too.I would think that any team who thinks Williams could be an upgrade at QB would send inquiries. Isn't that the way of things now? If Oregon checked in on him I'd assume they're just one of many.
