Ohhhh look, it's the dipshit who claimed Lanning would be a bust.15 of Oregon’s 23 starters started somewhere else
Sounds like they’re getting an absolute phenomenal return on their small investments
I've posted this list directly from the NCAA site. The Husky crew much prefers the On3 list and intel from specific beat writers.
There has to be plenty of money being spent by private parties and as far as I know there is no reporting requirements. Near certainty that nobody here knows.I've posted this list directly from the NCAA site. The Husky crew much prefers the On3 list and intel from specific beat writers.
I really wonder if anybody really knows who is spending what. I'm pretty sure nobody here does.
I highly doubt Oregon isn't in the top 4 or 5 on total roster comp. There has to be plenty of money being spent by private parties and as far as I know there is no reporting requirements. That's reasonable. But I keep asking the question, and the people here who pound the podium with the most indignation speculate, cite an On3 list that tells you their methodology is based on social media accounts and then go crickets when somebody cites an NCAA estimate. As a lawyer, I have learned to care more about what I don't know than what I [think] I do know. That has kept my ass out of the frying pan more times than I can count.I highly doubt Oregon isn't in the top 4 or 5 on total roster comp. There has to be plenty of money being spent by private parties and as far as I know there is no reporting requirements. Again, I don't care. All the big programs are looking to "buy" a NC.
One of the lessons here would be, if this list is even remotely accurate, that you can spend a lot and still suck. Arkansas? Kentucky? Not surprising in the least that they can get money in the door. But they're not that good. So, what's worse? Not spending and hence not trying and sucking? Or spending and trying and still sucking? This list has Indiana out spending Oregon and Washington. Washington is only a million behind Oregon. Nobody knows nothing

if this is full collective (basketball too) and not just football, Kentucky and Arkansas being on here makes a lot more sense. also msu and IndianaOne of the lessons here would be, if this list is even remotely accurate, that you can spend a lot and still suck. I really don't have an answer. I guess I'd rather try and fail than sit smugly on the sidelines, arms folded, ready to role out my faggitty ass "I wasn't trying anyway, so whatever" when I don't win. And that is really the posture of a lot of doogs. Other fan bases have them too. Don't twist. But I hang around here for football and nowhere else.

yeah if you want to win, you have to play the gameOf course Oregon is buying a NC. Every program with a pulse is. Don’t let the ranking fool you, I’m as sure as my penis still tingles for Kate Beckinsale that there is a shit ton of unreported private money used on Oregon’s roster. But to be ashamed of it is ridiculous. Your school is either buying a NC, or not, and probably never sniffing it. Times have changed, like it or not. Get on the train, or let the train go by and bitch about how the game isn’t good anymore. Oregon chooses not to be the latter.
Of course there was no crying like a little bitch last year about how the game was "fucked up." Is the game fucked up or does you team fucking suck Bill?yeah if you want to win, you have to play the gameOf course Oregon is buying a NC. Every program with a pulse is. doesn't mean the game isn't completely fucked up
