One beneficial thing about being a Husky fan the past decade...

We all felt it the night after beating Michigan in 1992 Rose Bowl, and going to bed wondering if we were in for heartbreak in the morning when the polls would reveal who was No. 1.

I haven't felt it since.

Watched the RB at home. I was up early the next morning on my way back to Basic Training. I didn't know until late January 2nd or 3rd.

I was in Anaheim, and went down to the continental breakfast area around 5:45AM and sat in front of the TV with some other Husky fans and waited.

So was I. Motel 6 across from Disneyland.

I was pretty stressed the week UW went to AZ the next year and was beaten. Damn Billy Joe
