Athletic director Bob De Carolis interviewed five candidates for the head coaching position including Gary Andersen, EWU head coach Beau Baldwin, Utah State head coach Matt Wells, Hawaii head coach Norm Chow and San Diego State defensive line coach Osia Lewis (OSU alum) according to the Portland Tribune. The Tribune’s sources tell them Andersen’s agreement will be five years beginning around $2.2 million with annual $100,000 increases thereafter. We note that is fairly similar to what Andersen was making at Wisconsin.

Baldwin is the best candidate, but im sure he was told he couldnt recruit at this level
