Going forward its going to be one thread, hence the title. Since Chuck is the only other person who cares.
I do actually like these videos.
They stream golf tourneys live in the middle of the night from Korea and I often enjoy watching them.
Yoon Ina just won Jeju Samdasoo Classic by 2 strokes about an hour ago. At about the 3:00 mark of the video the tourney officials poured a jug of water on her head, which looked kind of odd. Nevertheless, her second win!
Pretty odd ceremony and video. The musical choice at the end was particularly strange to me. It wasn't real celebratory.
As a reminder, she was banned for 18 months for cheating. (It's still not clear to me whether it was malicious or accidental). The ban was originally for three years but they cut it back to 18 months, which rubbed some players on the tour the wrong way. And fans still make catty comments about her online. In other words, not everyone is rooting for her to win.
But missing 18 months probably cost her somewhere between $400,000-$700,000 USD. So the price was stiff.
