Tell me what it’s like to have to defend a system that very clearly introduces the prospect of voter fraud.

For instance, when you rail against voter ID and in person polling on Election Day, what kind of mental gymnastics do you go through?
Obviously you know that the racial argument against voter ID is fucking absurd, and that there is a mountain of evidence that we cannot effectively control chain of custody for mail-in ballots, so how do you justify this to yourself?

Just be honest and say “the ends justify the means because Rachel Maddow told me that losing means the end of democracy”. I would respect you a lot more if you could just get to that end point, instead of dancing around with all of these stupid excuses and equivocations.
