Par 71 course. Do it like a man on a regulation course and come and talk shit.

It wasn’t today, but Race is right that this is traditionally one of the hardest courses on tour. Bay Hill is probably the only harder one over the years.

Jack doesn’t like his courses being embarrassed. Rough isn’t getting cut and no water on the greens the rest of the week.
 
13 players within 4 shots of the lead with a bunch of non winners ready to choke their guts out. Some started early yesterday on 15. Rickie Fowler trying to once again resurrect his career. Don Henley of the Eagles is a 5 time winner and a good pick.
Jack was interviewed on the broadcast. Tried to play it cool but I would hate to be the guy who did the Rye Grass overseed that combined with rain and no wind left the course defenseless. More wind showed up yesterday. Pressure will add to it today
Knapp was 12 under Thursday and 4 under since. Hanging in there.
 
Any idea of who Joe Highsmith is? The pride of Tacoma Country Club, the quiet yet exclusive playground of the South Sound elite.
Joe went 64-64 on the weekend to get his first win and looked like an old pro doing it A couple guys this year really stepped up when they had the shot
And as anticipated plenty of choking yesterday. Ready for Arnie's place
 
Son of Legendary Caddie Helps Longshot to First PGA Tour Win at Cognizant Classic

Joe LaCava Jr. 
Yes, the son of Tiger Woods’s former caddie and Patrick Cantlay’s current looper. 
How did this partnership come about? 
They met two years ago on the Korn Ferry Tour. LaCava Jr. was looping out there, and Highsmith was chasing his PGA Tour dreams. LaCava Jr. knows Fred Couples well, as his father was his longtime caddie, including when Couples won the 1992 Masters. Highsmith knows Couples, too, and the Hall of Famer told LaCava Jr. to “watch out” for Highsmith because he’s a “hell of a player.”
“So we hung out a little bit,” LaCava Jr. told Sports Illustrated on PGA National's putting green following the win. "We stayed together actually a couple of times, probably me, three other caddies, so that was a lot of fun, so we got to know each other well there.”
 
I played with Joe once at Sahalee when he was like 19 and playing at Pepperdine. Remembered the lefty with the hat. His teammate Sahith Thegala (however you spell that) was in the group behind us. Didn’t see Joe as a future tour winner by any means. Didn’t look the part.
 
Tacoma CC produced some decent golfers. Hopefully RJ Manke (who brings the wood) gets some love as well.
 
TCC will for sure will force you to have an amazing 100 yard and in game.
 
Fircrest is pretty nice. I got to play in tournaments there a couple times with a buddy. TCC is fantastic. My friend who used to be a superintendent got us on there when we were working at Riverside in Chehalis. Riverside used to have greens that rivaled TCC back in 2015-16, then my buddy got fired because he couldn’t get along with the owner’s daughter who ran the place despite knowing nothing about golf. We used to have a group of guys from TCC that would come down once or twice a month to play because the greens were that good. I watched one of them get an ace on 18, which is a par 4. That was pretty fucking cool.
