NFL trying to rally Democrat votes at their stadiums on game day

Why would billionaire, mostly republican owners want to push for democrat politicians? I get pandering to your work force with slogans on your helmets and end zones but trying to elect democrats seems weird. Let me know when the story is developed so I can wrap my head around it.

The owners might not but the players are another issue. I'm sure that GOTV efforts were part of same negotiations that gave us "END RACISM" in the endzones.
