Watching Lawrence Phillips and Ray Lewis collide is proof positive you needed to be a killer play that day.

Also Warren Sapp looking nice. Tommie Frazier just threw a pick. @creepycoug still has hope!

Watching Ray Lewis travel 25 yards across field to deliver a leading with the head helmet to helmet clean up tackle makes me miss FOOTBALL DAMMIT.

Birth of a dynasty

I remember that game like it was yesterday. I was actually there and thought I was in Lincoln Nebraska. Good God it was like the entire state would empty out and follow the Huskers wherever they went in January. Has to be the best traveling fan base of them all, if anybody has ever tracked that sort of thing.

Who could predict Miami self destructing with penalties.

Me. By 1994, Dennis' faults as a coach were starting to show. Discipline and O line play, in particular, had really begun to erode. I'd be surprised if Frank Costa, a physically talented kid, is able to walk today.

Classy post

Tried to watch it; fell asleep. I know who wins.

The brief amount I watched reminded me what a monster Bernard Clark was, standing in for a suspended George Mir as a freshman and tackling anything that moved.
