The Lakers don't need LeBron. He's old, injury prone, and cannot carry a team by himself anymore. That roster isn't a threat to do anything.
The Lakers are the Lakers and always get their man. They'd be smart to cut bait on LeBron and AD, clear out their cap, and bring in a couple stars next year or the year after. It's never a rebuild in LA.

This is nothing new. LeBron has always been a shitty GM. Him being tied so closely to Klutch doesn’t help. Teams he is on overpay for other Klutch clients.
