He's a politician and people buy it. A big reason is Ty going 0-12 which made some people believe this program could never be in the top tier again. Another reason is the fanbase has gotten really soft and doesn't put too much pressure on him.

Seahawks sell-out, Sounders average 41,000, as crappy as the Mariners are people keep going.
Husky Marketing and the AD hasn't quite figured out there's serious competition for the entertainment dollar in the Seattle area. I put the Huskies as the third choice for many people.

According to the link they still average 25K+ with no hope of the play-offs. The only thing the Mariners care about is keeping the bottom line in the black. . .just like the UW-AD.

The Home attendance, which really only matters is just over 22K. That isn't enough to maintain much of a profit. Especially when those 22k tickets almost have to be given away.

If I had to watch a AAA game, I'd prefer Tacoma over Seattle. It's a much more intimate atmosphere.

It's going to take a disaster year for Sark to get fired.

Only reason Ty was fired was because of owen12. Had he simply won 5 games I think he would have been given another year.

If sark starts off 4-0 bet he gets extended.
