The good:

Play calling didn't look like a retarded monkey was handling shit.
BPE is our Lord and Saviour
Just generally our coaching looked better than it has in two decades
OL seemed great in pass pro against a strong DL
DL got after it

The bad:

Punter is a retarded gerbil
4th quarter we sort of went limped dicked it trying not to lose
Goal line offense has a touch of downs

The ugly:

Corners wouldn't start at Rainer Beach

Overall:

We just won a prime time nationally televised OOC gayme against a Top 11 opponent in the BIG1G! I never thought it would happen again in my lifetime. Crazy. I refuse to get wacky though, because if BPE goes down we suck.

The things that need to get better have. DeBoer said that after the game. They will.

We didn’t close the game ideally. Michigan State’s first two TD’s needed multiple 4th down conversions.

We couldn’t punch it in on the goal line twoce. Penix missed a wide open guy for a TD late in the 3rd. We still won pretty easily even with those things going wrong.

We made Michigan State one dimensional and shut their run game down. It was a dominant performance that could have and should have been better. They were very lucky to have made the final score that close.

Our DL and OL played well. Penix is a fucking stud. The offensive coaching is top tier. We are seeing why offenses got better with DeBoer and worse when he left.

It’s a long season, but we should contend to make the PAC 12 championship. We hired a very good coach.

We're already seeing a trend of horrible 3rd and 4th down defenses, and it's well past the point of coincidence. I don't know if that's good because it's a narrower problem to solve, or if it points to some serious deficiencies in the secondary that allows that to consistently happen. But I can't take many more of these Fiesta Bowl flashbacks.
