So I fall into the trap and takes me a while to figure shit out...it is what is. so I have a heavy interest in University of Idaho as well (I know... FYFMFE)...anyways...Fleens acts like he is a player with Idaho and has an in... I ask him who UI will hire and tells me "...my guys say Tormey any minute."

Very fuckin next day they hire Petrino.
 
I don't understand. Petrino was hired to be Idaho's QB coach in '89. He became the OC the next year and was never the head coach at Idaho.

What am I missing here?

I think you're confusing Bobby Petrino with the Long Island Petrinos.
