Such a great pick up from the portal. We don't see a ton of him because teams don't throw on him a ton and he makes his plays. Without him who knows the depths this defense might sink to. I think we would have probably lost a game by now without him.
 
If we could have kept banks healthy the defense would be in a much better place. Muhammad is good. That was the norm around here not too long ago.
 
Jackson is decent at staying close to his guy, horrible at finding or reacting to the ball in the air, and the worst tackler on the team in space. They abused the fuck out of him last night.
 
Everybody takes their turn abusing him because he isn’t fast enough to keep up with speed and because of that spends all his energy trying to close the gap with no idea where the ball is while it’s in the air

This also is a direct invitation to throw jump ball passes… the defense needs another dominant corner to add into the blend… what about Caleb?

Jackson’s not very good but he’s made some really big plays this year. An upgrade would be nice, but there are bigger problems.

DT is a nightmare with Bandes and Tuitele, they need Tuli back to 100% desperately. And a portal addition or two.

He was also targeted vs oregon. The guy is not a starter level player at this point in his career. He has had some decent tackling games and some very poor efforts as well.
