Well, it was a blatant hold. But no point talking about it 4 days after the fact. Leave that to the fans.
The biggest difference I've noticed since going to the Big 10 with officiating is they very very rarely call holding. Same with pass interference. So they don't call it on your opponent, but they don't really call it on you either. I'm guessing unlike the Pac-12 they think people would rather watch guys play ball instead of chopping everything up with flags.
Problem is that can lead to teams just being like well we're going to hold constantly and there's nothing you can do about it and it's shitty to watch.
Lincoln seems about one more press conference away from saying they should let 68 teams into the playoff like basketball. It's not fair.

Lincoln is the narrow-shouldered, limp-wristed twerp everyone wanted to snap into 5 pieces but couldn't lest long-term incarceration and/or retribution due to the pussification of humanity in the 21st century.
USC is on my “Fuck you forever” list. To this day I’d like to see what the P12 with USC would have gotten on the open market. I’ve heard 40-45 per year was on the table. That’s enough to stay really competitive. B10 doesn’t get 65 million and a FOX, CBS, NBC monopoly without LA. RIP P12 and again, Fuck USC.
Note: Without the move to the B10 I’m not sure UW desperately digs deep financially to improve their infrastructure like they are now. The level of give a shit in the B1G is on another level from the PAC. For that I’m happy the move happened.
