In 1976, Don James gathered his assistants in the film room. He played film of USC games. He pointed to the footage and said "If we're going to compete at the highest level, we need to recruit players who look and play like THIS."

Chris Petersen needs to gather his assistants together. He needs to run film of Alabama games. He needs to point to the footage and say "If we're going to compete at the highest level, we need to recruit players who look and play like THIS."

Not just big, fast athletes of course. But ATTITUDE.

Funny thing is that Boise was known for playing dirty under Coach Pete. Notice our cut blocking this year? Dirty...I actually have no problem with how our defense pursues and hits. Focus on another problem. Offensive side of the ball is the problem. Hamdan needs to go. Bring in Sling Blade.
