I never rooted for inflation. But like a 3:59pm sunset, I knew it was coming, eventually.

The real question now, begs, will simply raising interest rates take care of it?

I don’t think so. Too many other systemic issues with supply. Issues that we haven’t endured in the last 45 years. And even then it was just gas and oil.

China is closed for business. Zero covid means zero covid. We are going to have shortages of things of all manner. The only thing that might temper inflation is a crashing economy with deflationary pressure.
