I've noticed that outlets like fox, Newsmax like to refer to Cohen as "convicted felon Michael Cohen" to brand him as unreliable but his convictions were related to the Daniel's payment.

She sued him. He settled. He then counter sued and she owed him 350K IIRC (although I could be confusing cases here) that's pretty standard practice to get rid of frivolous lawsuits last time I checked.
