"The coolest part about the visit was definitely out and about with Vita [Vea], Shane [Bowman], Taniela [Tupou], Mika and my best friend in two days Benning Potoae," said McCoy with a laugh.

Will his best friend join him next season at Washington?

"I can't say yet. But I can say he'll be making his decision this Thursday, crazy coincidence that coach [Chris] Petersen planned to come see him [on Thursday]," he said. "First off, he's [Benning Potoae] a big dude! But personally he's a great guy, head on straight and a great personality."

I will repeat for all to hear (with the kinder, gentler rules in mind): anyone who thinks Potatoe is going to UCLA is the kind of person who thinks they're paralyzed when a football helmet goes over their eyes.
