Max Gilliam (2016, QB) Offered

I really hope Browning is who we think we is so that whichever Plan D qb we get in this class never has to take a meaningful snap (unless Eason)
 
It's too bad he's not black because we'll miss out on the dm.c braintrust asking if he's any relation to Armon Gilliam and I enjoy a good Armon Gilliam reference.

The other QB Cal took this class is named Armani. He also looks like one of Armon Gilliam's dads

It may be his only redeeming quality, but it is a redeeming quality.

Sadly, he still sucks.

My fancy has now lightly turned to Jake Sirmon. 2020 will be special.

or, maybe when some disgusting old teen boy stalker who hangs around the field asks to take your picture, this is his response.
 
Gilliam is transferring and got his unconditional release from Wilcox and TOO HIGH U this week so he can transfer inside the Pac, which is his preference. He'll have four to play three.

Pro: UW offered him out of HS so they must have liked him
Con: He picked Cal so not real bright
Pro: Being a 2016 kid he would fill in the gaping hole in the depth
Con: Leaving after just one year in the program
Pro: Coaching change mitigates that a little
Con: Got beat out by two older QB's at Cal
Pro: At least they were older
Con: DDY hates him
Pro: DDY hates him

My guess is we don't have room for him with Haener and two 2018 QB's, but if they'd be willing to push Tony Rodriguez out it could work.

We'll see.
