Seems kind of timely as the US blocks a popular Chinese based app. Might also want to, I don't know, have transparency that our voting machines are sourced/tested from that same country.
It is timely and sets a dangerous precedent.
By doing this they can now find and justify a reason to block any platform that doesn't bend the knee to the govt narrative.
You can say goodbye to rumble or any other platforms running up to the election spreading anything the government deems "disinformation".
Anyone remember that pesky "Section 230" discussion that has disappeared and been memory holed? Haven't heard a peep about that in 4-5years.
They had to get rid of that and bury any internet freedom before they moved on full censorship of the convid discussion.
Now it's not just you, they can shut down entire platforms to "protect the people".
