Anyone know when crabbing season typically opens?

Renting a beach house for 4th of July and unfamiliar w/ the rules (Area 12/Hood Canal where I'm normally at)
 
You could ask the department of fish and wildlife. I bet they would know. Or you could ask abunch of dumb tards on a football message board and get 23 smart ass responses.

Here's mine: you can get crabs on Aurora in the u district from a hooker with a full bush any time.

Recreational Crab Fishing

Tacoma-Vashon Island
CLOSED

Rules:

CRAB: Dungeness and Red Rock Crab, all fishing methods;

Seasons:

Area is now closed. Will not open until summer 2014, date to be announced.

I will take Sven's 20 bucks for the 12 seconds that took me to look up. In lieu of the 20, I will take some crabs if you get any. Either way, it will be interesting.
