Before kids I used to plug in my Strat and play some Jimi licks poorly. Now I play them quietly on my acoustic guitar sitting on the porch.

There was that Randy Hanson dude, I think his name was, who did a bunch of Hendrix tribute shows up and down the West Coast. Once saw him at the beach with his friends where he just tore it up with an acoustic guitar. Guy was a badass guitarist in his own right, but really good at Jimi's stuff.
