With all of the UW defensive losses to graduation/NFL, there is next to no chance The Streak ends next season. Even if the new starters next fall approach the talent of the losses, the depth behind them will be totally outmatched.
I'm convinced. Fantastic offers list. A veritable who's who of college football's most legendary powers.
Yep, unfortunately it's hard to see UW beating Oregon at any point before 2017 in seattleWith all of the UW defensive losses to graduation/NFL, there is next to no chance The Streak ends next season. The defense giving up 45 is pretty disappointing. They laid an egg, and I don't think it's fair to blame it all on a lack of talent. It's a pretty talented defense. 4 really good players, plus Baker, Timu, Feeney, and the Hudsons (all 4 are multi year starters who have not improved, maybe even regressed) should be able to do better than allow 45 points. Then again, those same players have never slowed down Oregon or no huddle teams with good QB's. That's a lot of talent and experience except for the secondary.
The talent is pretty bad on the offensive side of the ball. No arguments there.

The defense is overrated. We learned that during August and September.
