He seems like the only coach in the conference that can find shooters. I would say good for the cougs but I hope Martin and Beasley both burn down in a wheat field fire so I guess all I have is that our? dawgs pull off the upset later and then slip Smith an offer afterwards. He would actually cook in Seattle.
Meanwhile Hopkins nearly earns the largest lead/collapse of the season because his offense can't do anything but hope that Brooks scores just enough down the stretch. A Portland Pilot stiff saved his ass in OT last night.

They don't just have shooters, those shooters have size and can really defend. He's an excellent talent evaluator
 
Smith waiting til the end of the season to talk extension. Language sounds like a coach that is seriously considering his options. Current contract only goes to 2026/7. Jumped from the WCC only to have to go back?
He's got to at least be a target for Dannen along with the Utah State coach.
