For as bad as that post was, it is remarkable that FSU was able to find it within themselves to fire Taggart half way through the following season. That takes conviction and commitment to winning. Loser programs would rather hand out sustainability’s awards and talk up the view of the lake while pussy footing around the optics of firing a shitty head coach.

Florida State sucks. But they are still only 8 years removed from a No Means No Natty. And they don’t have the political constraints that the Left Coast schools have.
