Lanning Loses Locker Room

First the Texas A&M 5-star tears his knee and now this. I wonder what the suspension means for his Phil Knight NIL deal.
 
I'm far more concerned about Trey McNutt, who broke his leg this week (assuming it's the fibula). He was likely to have legit playing time in the backfield.

He should transfer closer to home so he can see family more while recovering.
 
I do legit wonder what teams do with players like this who assumedly commanded a lot of NIL coming out of high school but then suck if they don't want to leave. Especially now because they know their value in the portal is tanked.
 
The season's a few weeks away and big surprise, it turns out that Dante Moore's performances at UCLA was actually a good indicator of how he might do with better players around him but going against better competition than WSU and Utah.

There's a guy at my neighborhood bar here wearing Oregon gear that looks like he's about to cry while texting on his phone right after Oregon's American Legion baseball team just went down 2-4 to Virginia's.
Somehow seems relevant to the thread.

The story is Lanning doesn’t name a starter until the week of game 1. Something about breeding competition or whatever ducks vs them platitude of the month they’re running with. Did doogs think Bo nix was neck and neck with Ty Thompson in 2022, too?
