Kim: Pete and staff "have some explaining to do"

Kim came to the recruiting board to beat his chest today. He's going after Petersen for offering QB Matt Fink "without seeing him throw" but did not do the same for local hero Skinny Eason. More proof that Petersen is learning about big boy recruiting on the job. Reiterates that Petersen royally screwed up on Joyner and Eason's recruiting even though Joyner eventually came around and Eason and his family won't say it and says Pete "has some explaining to do".

The guy literally never posts on that board except to bash the coaching staff, especially the head man.

So that's what KJV's "What's Most Interesting About This Offer" was in reference to ...

Also looks like he may be deleting posts/comments disagreeing with him as well.

Deleting comments disagreeing with him - the guy has one of the worse cases of short mans disease that I have ever seen. He should be a cop on a college campus.

I think it's always better to offer early if you got a hunch a player may be good and then figure it out later through the summer. If they took his commitment right away maybe KJV has a point.

If you offer early and find out later the kids sucks - you kick him to the curb or don't allow him to commit to your offer. This is better than offering late and having to play catch-up if he turns out to be a player.

Serious queereey for the bored:

If you accept the starting premise that KG is unhappy with CP for denying him "inside access" to the program, why would you ever believe any of KG's purposed "inside info" about the program, recruiting, etc.?

Crisped.

I don't think anyone believed him when he did have "inside access" under Sark.

Laaars may just be the best recruiting guy in Husky Land. That may not be saying much but he seems like he actually knows what he's talking about.

Because CP NFL players > Sark(KG hero) NFL players and development. There is something to be said for getting the right mentality into CP's program. Even if a kid has all the stars if he's empty upstairs or doesn't have the drive he's worthless pile of talent.

Kim seems to forget regularly that peterman has douched most big boy schools with his pitiful wac recruits. Nobody can say if he comes to uw and is successful, but if the ultimate bar is getting kids to the nfl, beating oregon, and winning BCS games I think i'll give CP leeway.
