Oh so the FDA had their own version of the FAA's "Let Boeing self regulate to confirm safety, surely this MCAS thing is fine"?
Of course something bad in the food supply doesn't kill you instantly like a stabilizer trimmed to push the plane's nose down when it gets bad data from a sensor, but it could over time create harmful outcomes. Those are a lot harder to measure unfortunately so am very curious what the measurements of "bad" will be.
