Kasen Williams not an OKG?

"... I think it’s clear: Everybody knows I’m not playing as big a role as I used to"

and

“But,” he added, “I think that (it’s) the play calls as well. I’m not hating on anybody because we’re winning every game and we’re putting up 45 points every game, so it’s hard to be mad over that. But, you know … we do run the ball a lot.”

Ummm... Hey Kasen, how about you get some separation from the DBs? Hell, he had trouble creating any type of space between him and the DBs from GSU for fucks sake!! I can only imagine what's going to happen once Kasen goes up against some better competition. Admittedly, Miley's noted struggles with his decision making aren't making thing easy but that doesn't keep KW from doing his job of (gasp) actually getting open!

Oh btw... FUCK OFF Jude!!!

He was pretty good before the injury but couldn't get separation very well then. Now he is slower and just not that good.

Kasen was slow before the injury and now he is fucking slow

Hey Kasen, go play running back in the fucking AFL or something. Try getting open, I hear it helps.

WTF'd for bashing the kids.

Not very classy.

Maybe so... But I'll keep doing it until soft, self-entitled Sark types get over themselves and stop whining to reporters in interviews.

ASJ came to UW to win a NATTY!!!!!!

"Coach Sark (Steve Sarkisian), and the players there, it's going to be a national championship soon," said Seferian-Jenkins, who picked the Huskies over the University of Texas. "I want to be a part of that, that hometown guy, that local guy to help bring them back up. I think I can do that. I know I can do it. We're going to do it."

instead he just dropped crucial passes

He's right though. They do run the ball a lot.

Agreed. 99 pass attempts to 204 runs so far this year. But if the receivers are struggling to get open or Miley isn't seeing/making the reads fast enough, what is the staff supposed to do?

WHy the fuck would Peterman pass a lot with the noodle arm we have back there?

The only issue I see with our current run/pass mix is that everyone else knows we are not a huge pass threat right now, and thus stuffing the box (LOL) could become an issue going forward.

Petersen is here to win games. The way to win those games with this team is by running the ball. Making sure guys got stats and running them up in blowouts is what Sark did. This year's offense is not geared for a WR to put up big numbers. Ross is doing his work with limited touches as well. Mickens has caught some balls, but most of those have been short passes and screens. That has never been Kasen's role.

WR's want the ball. I would expect a player who has been a #1 or #2 target who got a lot of targets to be frustrated by not getting the ball. I didn't think Kasen said anything that wasn't true or was that bad, but he probably shouldn't have made those comments to the media.

Agree, but I will add that I haven't had the sense that he's working extremely hard to create separation and help Miles out. Either that or his injury was so bad that he's a mere shell of his former self.

Jude said in his blog this morning that he didn't think Williams was complaining, just telling it like it is
