Just saw an electoral college map from 1976

I worked for the last Republican Governor of Oregon. He told me that he would be the last Republican Governor of Oregon in my lifetime. So far, he was right on the money.
Before the left destroyed the renewable forestry industry, the state was much more Conservative. Then the earthquake happened in 88 or 89' and the Californians moved up by the tens of thousands and they destroyed the place. Portland is now a demilitarized zone and housing is out of site.
 
The Pacific Coast went GOP through Bush 1 in 1988. Nixon and Regan alone won California 4 times
Orange County was so conservative that it was a running punch line on Johnny Carson

"Hyper cautious". LOL! What you really believe is that BO should have shoved his socialist agenda down Americans throats whether they liked it or not and they most certainly did not.
Typical rat voter. You can't be honest about your agenda because you know it would be soundly rejected by the voters. BO was uber middle of the road during his campaign and then took a sharp left turn which pissed off over half the country. He certainly wanted to let foreigners govern us but he knew it was political suicide. I guess that is what you mean by "hyper cautious". He knew he could only lie so much and get away with it.
 
WTF do you know about "actual Conservatives"? You have no idea what that even means nor have you ever met a Conservative.

I was in college when Carter was President. I think we all know he was a mistake and if you are a reasonable and responsible adult you ran from Carter and the dem party after college.
But other than that, did you have to hold your nose when you voted for Truman?

I was in college when I voted for Ford and Reagan (the first time). Any other excuses you'd like to offer?
