Jo Koy on mumble rap

I think a lot of people hate Jo but this is pretty spot on, especially with the comparison to Biggie. I'm actually pretty surprised how literary a lot of rap is when I listen to stuff prior to the 2010s or at least clear and emotional.
I heard Jo Koy interviewed on Rogan years ago and thought he was obnoxious and unfunny. But this clip is decent

Well, it's not hard to make fun of horrible mumblerap. He was on Carolla a lot when I listened to him a lot. Never really gave liked him but always gave anyone who woudl come on regularly credit since you could get labelled as a Nazi simply for going on a show like that.

Chelsea Handler was giving it to Jo Koy in the ass with a strap on.

We'll just leave it at that.

Henry Cho > Jo Koy

Saw Cho a year ago. Most of his set has been shared in clips like the one above. That is, seems to be going through the motions. Chris Petersen 2019. That said its still funny after 20 times.

Jo Koy's earlier stuff is great. His first special he self produced and filmed in Seattle there are still things I quote weekly about that. Mostly about how his mom pronounces his name, and Muckleshoot. He's probably a bit like Manny Pacquiau and Jollibee where he's propped up a bit by the substantial number Pill-i-pino Americans. Pinoy! His relationship with Chelsea Handler seemed a bit clout chasing.

Sometimes comedians run out of material as well, or their fame makes it tougher to relate to the common audience member. Saw Gabriel Iglesias at the Puyallup Fair (for free) and his whole bit was about how famous and wealthy he is. Laughs were minimal.
