Jim Moore Questions if Leach is "The Man"

After the Georgia State game Moore was absolutely giddy on the radio because UW didn't beat them as bad as they should have.
 
This is pretty funny chit.

The only time he elaborates is when he's asked non-football questions. Ask him about cloud formations and he'll probably give you a story about the time when he was 8 years old in Wyoming, out on the ranch, lying in a big field behind the barn, gazing up at the sky and how one of the clouds looked like a deer chasing a bunny rabbit. He jumped up, ran in the house, told his mom about it, she gave him a big hug, and he'll never forget that moment for the rest of his life!
 
I still laugh whenever I think of that article he wrote about his dog dying.
 
The State of the two programs: WSU vs UW
Long time lurker first time poster! Just wanted to give my opinion on the state of cougar football and husky football and why Wazzu is primed much better for the future and beyond. While the forecast for UW looks bleak at best.

Lets look at the coaches. Chris Petersen takes over a brand new corvette and has turned it into a run down honda civic. Look at the NFL talent on defense, and the immense talent on offense they have. Sarkisian although couldnt coach in game was a master recruiter and left the cupboard full for Petersen. And what has Petersen done with it? A 7-6 record (soon to be!) while not beating ONE FCS TEAM WITH A WINNING RECORD!!!! Players are not put in a position to succeed, where Leach takes a talent deficient team and makes them competitive in most games. And on a recruiting front theyre struggling. Even the guys at the husky scout site have hinted at the terrible things pete has been doing over there. Stock for UW is way down. Enough said on that. Also next year for UW looks very bad. Losing a lot of nfl talent. And this current talented UW team barely is .500 wow next year could get ugly. I see a 5 win husky team next year at the most.

Mike Leach took over a mess. First year was a struggle. Second year we went 6-7 but won a few down to the wire could go either way type games (USC, Arizona). This year we didnt win those games, Rutgers, Nevada, Cal all those should have been wins. This team should be 6-5 going into the apple cup. But Leach is building a culture, and recruits have bought in due to our great class so far. What is Petersen building? OKG's and choir boys....trust me the downfall of UW is close. The negative Leach talk is mind numbing to me. Some of you forgot the mess Paul Wulff left. Or some of you dont realize the mess Wulff left this program. WSU is a 7-8 win team next year.

I see the tide beginning to turn saturday and being in full force by next season. I say WSU wins rather easily...say 34-17?
 
I don't disagree with these posts. However, I do like it when a CUOG goes against the script. Long live the divided fan base.

Holy fuck would it be hilarious if given all that, Petersen comes in and inserts the plunger dry, and is all smiles walking up to the 50 to shake Leach's hand.

I know. It appears that Peterman is actually going after his recruits and not waiting around to poach WSU's and Cal's.

According to some Coogs leach hasn't really coached his team yet. Apparently you can't rate coaches until they only have their guys playing.
