Someone blacked out during the Apple Cup for the 50th year in a row. The fake audible-direct snap play is one of the best dial ups in recent Apple Cup history at a pretty big juncture (if memory serves, I browned out in fairness to Jim). All Grubb. EMFA Jim Beam Moore.

In another thread (of course I will not search for it) someone brought up the fact that Grubb should not be judged as that good of an OC until Penis is gone and Huard/Morris take over. If he can get to 10-2 with one of those guys at QB then he will prove he is the OC we hope he can be. Either way he is a rich OC

Good OCs don’t stand for shit QB play. I don’t view it as a failing if they don’t fix what was broken by JonDon and Pond. If they can, they’re even better than I think they are now. I suspect if Penix is able to achieve what we? think he’s capable of, the portal will be open with options again next year (and maybe even this winter/spring). If Sam/Dylan never play significant snaps for these guys it means nothing to me about their abilities as coaches, and everything about Sam/Dylan as players.

If we end up in a scenario where one or both need to start, I’d hope they’re better than what we’ve seen to date. I won’t think Grubb sucks if those guys don’t perform like Penix bedause those guys aren’t as good as him.

I'm not sure why people would solely judge Grubb for his 1 year at UW and not his body of work. He has done well at pretty much every stop he's been, obviously Fresno State but also at Sioux Falls.
