The situation is highly fucked.

1) Pac-12 will probably do anything to try to stay solvent. They need schools in the SoCal market. Not a lot of good choices. They need the TV Market. Probably need to add 2 down there and then add 2 more (somehow) to strengthen. Hard to see who that might be.
2) Big10 told us no. So that's out. That would have been the best possible move.
3) CowSay will probably veto any ideas to join conferences that don't have a rich academic tradition making defacto decision to stay in P12.

The duck fans and administration have to be beside themselves as well.

Maybe the play is to form a pact between UW, Oregon, Utah, and Stanford and shop it around.

Fuck Oregon.

Question is when, and that is the concerning part for me. Every year we don't, we fall farther behind in recruiting, $, etc ie the arms race that is CFB today
