the only thing that doesn't bode well for this dyp shit is that FSU is NOT in the SEC, but in the decidedly more genteel and academic and snooty ACC. I wonder what kind of conference pressure there may be there. on the other hand, FSU is that conference's premier athletic member, certainly in football, and they bring legitimacy and $$ to the conference.

hard to say. the kid has been on a run. fucker can sure throw the ball though. if he can get his head on straight he could be a force in the league. athletic, some running and escapability and a Marino-like release.

The finally delayed it far enough that by the time they make a decision, it won't have any baring on the playoffs. Winston could get suspended during the playoffs, but certainly not before.

Not sure I agree with Barry Petchesky's legal opinion on this. Administrative processes can move really quickly, especially in a case like this one. FSU already got a national title and Heisman out of Winston - why not throw him to the proverbial wolves to get some FREE PUB and keep the Obummer Administration from taking away a shitton of funding?
