He has offers from Fresno State, Nevada, Rice, and Wazzu. If he has an offer from Rice, then academics shouldn't be an issue. He also plays basketball under Mike Bibby. I personally think that his ceiling is the highest at the Will. Being 6'4" with speed, and considering how he hits at 190 lbs., I think it will be interesting to see what an extra 20 or so lbs. will do. His strength numbers on his Hudl are stupidly low, which probably means they haven't been updated for long time.
