Watched a doc on HBO on Alanis and this album that sold 33 million units. 3rd most in the decade of the 90s.

I remember the songs and the videos but already being old as dirt when it came out I didn't pay a lot of attention

Came away with a lot of respect for her and the songs sound great. Really good stuff

She was a teen Debbie Gipson in Canada who came to LA and became who she wanted to be. Neil Young helped out on the way.

Gets a recommend to watch from me

Me too, but I couldn't deny that the one big song was a pretty impressive one.

Also I heard her on Howard Stern once or twice and she's a pretty damn cool with a sense of humor. Funny, easy going, decent looking, and sings about sex when she's pissed off. Thumbs up.
 
I love this album.

When she played on Howard Stern, she sounded terrible, though. Not sure if she's just lost it or can't carry a tune without her bandmates. Or maybe she wasn't trying.
 
Taylor Hawkins was the drummer on this tour. Dave Navarro and Flea played on the album. She’s got cred and an eye for talent
